Made with 100% Kyushu tea leaves

We source carefully selected tea leaves from a variety of teas in Kyushu and finish them using Okada Shokai's special blend and manufacturing method.

We sell our products at a direct sales store attached to the factory.
There is a relaxing tasting area where you can try before you buy.

Japanese Tea Awards 2017 Japanese Tea Grand Prize

The steamed Tama Ryokucha "Bessen Yamagiri" won the Japan Tea Grand Prize at the Japan Tea Awards 2017.

At the Japan Tea Awards 2017* (a total of 405 entries), which showcased a large number of excellent teas from all over Japan, Okada Shokai's tea won the Platinum Award (the highest award in the category) in the Steamed Green Tea category. Then, at the final judging at the TOKYO TEA PARTY, held at Shibuya Hikarie in Tokyo from December 1st to 3rd, Okada Shokai's tea was awarded the Japan Tea Grand Prize (Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award), the highest honor in Japan, selected from the Platinum Award winners in each category.

*The Japanese Tea Awards is a new type of tea tasting competition that judges tea based on the criteria that customers find delicious to drink.
